EU-ASEAN Young Leaders Forum
EU-ASEAN Young Leaders Forum

The European Union (EEAS) is seeking nominations for Young Leaders from Europe (EU28) to participate at EU-ASEAN Young Leaders’ Forum to be held on 26-27 February 2018, in Brussels, Belgium.

We are looking for inspiring young professionals and students (under 30 years of age) who are active in the politics, international relations, business, arts and culture, and civil society, and are committed to promote the future of EU-ASEAN relations.

The purpose of this Forum is to “reflect” on 40 years of the EU-ASEAN relations so far and to “look ahead” and discuss ideas for strengthening/upgrading EU-ASEAN relations. The Forum is to discuss the topics of:

1. Political and Security Issues
2. Economy, trade, business exchanges
3. People to people contacts

In particular, the selected Young Leaders should work to advance the role of youth in EU-ASEAN decision making, and share knowledge on EU-ASEAN cooperation from a wide range of perspectives.
