The International AIDS Society (IAS) Youth Voices Initiative is organizing a Youth Ambassadors programme to provide capacity-building and networking opportunities to a select group of young advocates, researchers and activists during the AIDS conference.
A dedicated programme at every International AIDS Conference and IAS Conference on HIV Science to ensure that the voices of young people living with HIV, young activists and researchers are heard at international meetings and that young people are provided with opportunities to strengthen their research and advocacy skills.

The planned activities include:
- Meeting and Q&A with AIDS daily Plenary Speakers;
- Grant-writing and resource mobilization training with funders (research and programming grants);
- Networking with youth-led community organizations;
- Career Forum to explore opportunities in research and industry.
The strongest applicants will be invited to join the Youth Ambassadors activities at IAS 2017, such as abstract writing training, meetings with top-level scientists and plenary speakers, communications training, as well as a career forum to discuss your career pathway in the field of HIV.
